iMessage Effects Not Working on iPhone? Try This

1. You sent a message with bubble/screen effects to a non-Apple smartphone like Android.

Step 1 Check If You’re Sending an iMessage Or NotFrom the Message App, if the send arrow is in blue, you are going to send an iMessage. However, if the send arrow is in green, then you are going to send a text messages and text message cannot be added the bubble/screen effects.
To send an iMessage, you are required to get network connection in good condition and please note that iMessage only works between Apple devices. You can't send iMessages with effects to non-Apple smartphones.
Step 2 Turn off Reduce Motion
As Bubble/Screen effects don’t work properly when the "Reduce Motion" option on your iPhone is enabled, you should check if it is turned on.
Please head to "Settings > General > Accessibility > Reduce Motion" on your iPhone to disable Reduce Motion option. Your iMessage effects will be turned on.
Step 3 Turn off and Turn on iMessage
Go to "Settings > Messages" and turn off iMessage. After a few seconds, please try to enable it again. This action can sometimes fix the issue and you should not miss it.
Step 4 Disable 3D Touch
Please head to "Settings > General > Accessibility > 3D Touch" and disable it. Wait for several minutes and try to send a message with effects to check if it works or not.
Step 5 Restart iPhone
Please power off your iPhone and then turn it on. It may fix iOS 10 iMessage effects not working problem.
