The Complete Guide to Use Snapseed Photo App

You may have heard about Snapseed, a photo editing app just like Instagram, but many users don't really aware how powerful it is. The Transform tool is used to change the perspective in your image. It allows you to adjust the horizontal or vertical perspective or rotation and enables you to correct distortions. It's particularly useful if you shoot architectural subjects.

You can select from Perspective Vertical, Perspective Horizontal or Rotation of this feature to adjust and then swipe left or right to increase or decrease the settings of that element. You should now be able to straighten up any building or correct perspective problems in other types of image by using a combination of the three adjustments.

The feature "Selective" of Snapseed allows you to adjust the brightness, contrast and saturation of a small, select area of your photograph. It works by making adjustments selectively, based on the color that you tap on in your image.

To start with, please tap on the screen in the location which you want to correct and choose the color in your image that you wish to adjust. Then pinch your fingers to change the size of the area that will be affected. You can see a circle would appear in red. Swipe up or down to select the adjustment you want to apply to the selected color from Brightness, Contrast or Saturation. Then swipe left or right to increase or decrease that particular setting.

Of course there are other useful tools from Snapseed that allow users to adjust and edit their images. Just like Brush Tool (a powerful tool that can be used to subtly or dramatically alter the look of your image), Healing Tool (a tool for removing distractions from your photo) and so on.
