Tips to Fix iOS Recovery Mode

-- Friday, September 23, 2016
Recovery mode is a method that can force to restore your device when something goes wrong with the system. If you have backed up the data, you can restore your iPhone exactly how it was before you enter the Recovery mode.

There are the situations that you may need to enter the Recovery Mode to fix the system of your iOS device:

1. Your iOS device gets stuck in white Apple screen and can't get out of it.

2. Upgrade the iOS version like iOS 10 updating on iPhone 6s, and your device is stuck in restart loop.

3. Fail to restore data from backup and the iTunes could not work on your device anymore.

When come up with Recovery Mode, the DFU Mode, acronyms Device Firmware Update Mode may also come to our mind. The two modes can both fix some iOS system problems but the DFU Mode is more comprehensive. With Recovery Mode, you need to update the latest iOS and firmware to restore your device. But with DFU Mode, you can choose the firmware you want and downgrade as well as upgrade the iOS in this mode.

But sometimes our iOS device would be stuck in the Recovery Mode and could not get out of it. Now, I want to show you how to fix iOS Recovery Mode.

2. You can see a main toolbar on the interface of the iTunes on your computer. Please click on your device and go to the Summary tab, you will be asked to choose update or restore on your device. Try updating your device first without wiping out the data. But if it doesn't work, try restore!
