Optimize Samsung Galaxy S7/S6 for Improving Internal Storage

There are a lot of system file stored in your Samsung Galaxy S7. If you install more third-party software on it, you will find that you the internal storage is not enough even if it is 16 GB. Today, I will show you the tutorial on how to optimize your Samsung Galaxy S/Alpha/Note. Samsung Galaxy Note 5/S7/S6/A9/A7 and so on can try to optimize on your own according to this tutorial.

Method 1: Release Galaxy Storage with Android Transfer

In order to optimize the Galaxy storage, you are allowed to apply a practical assistant to operate. Android Transfer is highly-recommended because it can back up your phone data and restore, add or delete contents as you like. Further more, you can use it to release the internal memory.

Step 1 Download the program from the icon above and enter its homepage to select "Android". Then, connect Samsung to PC to call for this window.

Step 2 As for those data taking up large memory, like photos, videos, music, apps, you can switch those data to the computer to improve your phone storage.

Note: Those apps can be moved to the SD card to save the internal memory if you choose "Move to SD Card".

Method 2: Guide to Manually Improve Storage

You can copy some files like pictures, movies, apps, and so on, on your SD card rather than on your phone.
Step 1 Connect your phone to the computer with the USB cable, and you will see a pop-up removable disk. Click "Open the device and read the file". If it doesn't pop up, you can go to My computer and find the removable disk which is named by your phone model. Double click it.

Step 2 You will see two storage folders, one is Phone the other is Card. Make sure that you have installed your SD card, otherwise, there will only be one storage folder – the Phone one..
Step 3 Open the Phone one, right click the file that you want to copy and click Copy.
Step 4 Select Card, and right click the mouse, then Paste. And you have had your data that you want to transfer stored in the SD card.
