-- Wednesday, November 04, 2015
The striking Motorola X features Android™ 5.0, Lollipop, innovative software, water resistance, etc. It is doing well in the market. If you are one of those who are beckoned by new Motorola X and are intended to get one, you will need to clone your files from the old phone to the new. In this post, we will take Samsung Galaxy and Motorola X for example and revolve around transferring Samsung contacts/messages to Motorola.

To clone phone book and SMS, we need a tool – Motorola Migrate. This app is developed by Motorola company, allowing its users to easily move data from phone to phone. It only takes a few steps to complete the task. Just with your phones and available Wi-Fi access, you can move your contacts and messages in several minutes.

Part 1: Transfer Data from Android to Motorola

NOTE:
1. Install Motorola Migrate on your Samsung and Motorola.
2. Connect both phones to Wi-Fi hotspot.

Then you will be required to install Migrate app in your Samsung phone. If you have done it, hit the blue tab "Press here". If not, choose "NEXT" to install the app. Since you have previously installed the app in your Samsung, in this step choose "Press here". In the next screen, a QR code will pop up.
