Motorola Migrate: Transfer Content from Lenovo to Moto

To be frank, getting a new Motorola phone such as Moto X, Moto G/E and Droid Ultra/Maxx/Mini for yourself is as exciting as it can be, but setting it up and moving files to the current device is a complicated job. The app is Motorola Migrate. With this app, you can transfer contents between Android, for example, between Lenovo and Motorola phone. It supports direct transmission between two devices, without a mediator computer and a USB cable. It depends on Wi-Fi connection. Part 1:Transfer Content from Lenovo to Moto

NOTE:
1.Install Motorola Migrate on your Lenovo and Motorola.
2.Connect both phones to Wi-Fi hotspot.
3.Supported devices: Moto X, Moto G, Moto E, Droid Ultra, Droid Maxx and Droid Mini, Samsung Galaxy S6/S6 edge+, LG G4/G3, Sony Xperia Z3/Z5, Nexus 6/6P, Lenovo Phab Plus,etc.

Step 1 Select Transfer Mode
Run Motorola Migrate on your Motorola phone. Then choose the transfer mode – Send data TO this device. And select your old phone types – Android. After that, click the button "NEXT".



Step 2 Select File Types to Transfer
Now you can precisely choose your wanted file types to transfer, such as contacts, messages, photos, videos, and music and call logs. Then click the button "NEXT". Since you have previously installed Motorola Migrate on your Lenovo phone, click "Press here". Then a QR code will show on the screen.



Step 3 Contents Migrate from Lenovo to Motorola
Go to your Lenovo Phone. Then run Motorola Migrate and hit the button "NEXT" at the first page. Then old your Lenovo phone over the Motorola phone with the QR code showing in the blue square. When the code is scanned, the app will connect your phones.



Step 4 Transfer Content from Lenovo to Moto
Once connection is done, your selected files will be sent to Motorola phone. This can take some time but it won't last too long. When transmission is over, hit the button "FINISH" to finish the process.

Part 2:Transfer Content from Moto to Lenovo

As I once failed to transfer content from Moto to Lenovo because the QR code didn't show up, I recommend the other program Phone Transfer to help you do this job.



Step 1 Connect Lenovo and Motorola to Computer
Launch Phone Transfer on your computer. Then choose the mode –Phone to Phone Transfer. Successively connect Motorola and Lenovo to the computer with USB cable.



Step 2 Choose Files to Transfer
When your phones are detected, you can select file types to transfer, such as contacts, text messages, photos, videos, and apps. After that, hit the button "Start Copy". If you select the option "Clear data before copy", old data in the destination phone will be wiped.
